Our Story
Parallel Journeys was co-founded by Kelly Maness and Mariah Sather, two women who know firsthand the transformative power of authentic connection and meaningful friendships. Introduced by a mutual friend, their bond was immediate and within minutes, they felt a deep sense of kismet. Together, Kelly and Mariah bring complementary strengths and passions to the community. Mariah contributes her experience as a compassionate healer and strategic leader, while Kelly brings her entrepreneurial spirit, adventurous heart, and grounded wisdom. At the heart of their partnership is a shared love of travel, new experiences, laughter, and the joy of building community, which guides everything they do at Parallel Journeys. Over the years, they recognized that their lives unfolded in parallels with one another, sharing similar lessons, growth, and insights through different life circumstances. This experience inspired the name of the community.
Through their connection, Kelly and Mariah realized how many people desire the same depth of belonging, emotional support, and authentic relationships. This realization inspired the creation of Parallel Journeys: a community where individuals can experience transformational experiences, shared growth, and the healing power of walking life’s path together.
Who We Are
Kelly
Co-Founder of Parallel Journeys, Kelly Maness combines her adventurous spirit with a desire to see people for who they are and to clearly understand their needs. Having called Colorado home since she was a toddler, she brings a deep love for nature, belonging through community, and meaningful relationships to all that she does.
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, friend, animal lover, and entrepreneur, Kelly embodies both wisdom by experience and generosity of spirit. Alongside her husband, she has co-owned a successful business for over 15 years where she has cultivated the art of leading with creativity, compassion, and integrity.
Now semi-retired, Kelly treasures time with loved ones and finds joy in travel, new experiences, great food, music and heartfelt conversations. She believes that life’s greatest moments come from authentic relationships and shared adventure.
At Parallel Journeys, Kelly brings warmth, intuition, and a love of community to create spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and encouraged to embrace life fully — discovering the joy of belonging and the transformative power of walking this journey of life together.
Mariah
Co-Founder of Parallel Journeys, Mariah Sather is someone who makes you feel genuinely welcomed the moment you meet her. As a proud Colorado native and someone who is deeply family-oriented, she finds joy in bringing people together — helping them feel seen, valued, and like they truly belong.
A Karuna Reiki Master, compassionate leader, and someone who thrives in connecting with others, Mariah has spent more than 20 years in the corporate world as a talent acquisition professional. That experience sparked her passion for helping others feel confident in who they are and guided her toward her calling as a healer and community builder.
Mariah believes the magic of life happens when we share it — through creativity, excellent food and conversation, travel, new experiences, and everyday moments grounded in abundance. She loves walking alongside people through all of life’s journeys: the joy, the growth, the loss, and everything in between.
